MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin women's basketball have selected a new coach to lead their basketball program.
Robin Pingeton previously served as head coach of Missouri for 15 seasons.
Pingeton leaves Missouri with a 250-218 overall record, and recruited Missouri's first All-American guard Sophie Cunningham.
The Tigers appeared in multiple NCAA Tournaments with Cunningham but haven't qualified for the tournament since she left the school after the 2018-19 season.
Pingeton is hoping to turn around a down-and-out Wisconsin women's program who haven't made the NCAA Tournament since 2010.
"I am excited to get to Madison and get to work." Pingeton said.
