KARMA! Weasel in visa saga for beating Rwandese girlfriend

Singer Weasel real name Douglas Mayanja must be regretting the day he thumped the living lights out of his Rwandese girlfriend/baby mama Sandra Tetta as the incident has come to haunt him and what is left of his nose-diving career as a musician.

Not so long ago, the deadlocked singer made headlines for all the wrong reasons after he disfigured his lover after suspecting she was cheating on him with Nomad bar boss Kamau. The domestic violence issue attracted the attention of the Rwanda Embassy and Sandra had to be evacuated back to Kigali as thousands called for Weasel’s head.

Fast forward, Weasel can’t seem to disassociate himself from the incident. Reports indicate that the singer is frustrated as no one wants to book him to perform at shows with big sponsors anywhere.
“Promoters outside are now snubbing him. Even those who have tried to book him are finding it hard to get the work permits and visas”, reveals a source close to the troubled singer. Recently, a promoter in the UK was forced to scrap Weasel off the Independence Concert after embassies refused to give the singer a visa.

We have also learnt another embassy has refused to issue Weasel a visa until he produces an Interpol police certificate of good conduct. He has been camping at Kololo Interpol offices for a week trying to secure the certificate of good conduct, which he is yet to achieve. Since Weasel beat up Sandra, he is estimated to have lost up to 30 shows in and outside the country.
