Students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to apply for the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards before the Dec. 11 deadline.

The awards are presented by the nonprofit Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. Since 1923, creative teens around the country have been recognized for their talents through the program.
