The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) has revealed the identities of the two most wanted Ghanaian criminals who fled into other countries.

As of 2017, INTERPOL was operational in 192-member countries and serves as an international organization that facilitates international police cooperation.

Taking a look at INTERPOL’s website, Ghanaweb has identified two Ghanaians who have been involved in criminal acts and are wanted in other countries.

Asabke Alangdi:

Asabke Alangdi has been arrested for the murder of former Upper East Regional Chairman of the National Patriotic Party, Adams Mahama, who was attacked with acid while on his way home. Mr. Adams Mahama however, was pronounced dead on May 21, 2015, at the hospital.

Mr Alangdi, however, was grabbed in Ivory Coast during a joint operation by Ghana’s Criminal Investigation Department and INTERPOL after being on the run for four years.

It was revealed that he was put under surveillance for more than one year when discovered in Burkina Faso, and later last year when he moved to Ivory Coast.

Alangdi, who is expected to be put before court soon, has been on INTERPOL’s most-wanted list since 2015.

Alex Kwame Fuachie:

Ghanaweb also identified Alex Kwame Fuachie, a 35-year-old man, who is currently wanted by the Netherlands INTERPOL for an extremely violent robbery of a family in Bloemendaal, in 2008.

Fuachie, who has been internationally listed as a wanted person, was born in Kumasi, Ghana and currently uses various aliases, he is said to be very dark-skinned, 175 meters tall and is well built-in size.

INTERPOL says he may be residing in Amsterdam with his girlfriend, only known as Evelyn and a child.
